I started learning joinery at the age of five. My grandfather owned a joinery workshop and employed my father there as a joiner, so the trade was already two generations deep before I picked up a tool.

My father bought me my first tool box at that age and used to bring home offcuts of timber for me to play around with. That led to a four year carpentry and joinery apprenticeship, served while working in my father's joinery, and from there I went out on my own as a self-employed carpenter and joiner.

Working through job after job, I kept getting enquiries for aluminium and timber window and door repairs. It became clear there was real demand for window and door technicians and no easy way for people to find one, so I opened a company customers could actually search for when a window or door needed fixing.

The carpentry and joinery background sits underneath the technician work, and that combination is the point. It means I can identify and repair any problem on aluminium or timber joinery — and where a repair isn't the answer, we supply and install new windows and doors as well.
